| Recommended Dilutions/Conditions: | Western Blot (an initial dilution of 1:100 is recommended due to the dilute nature of the immunoaffinity purified antibody) Note: Huwe1 is a large (485kDa), labile protein that is susceptible to fragmentation upon freeze thaw and upon heating. DO NOT heat lysate/protein samples when preparing for SDS-PAGE. Western blotting conditions appropriate for the transfer of large proteins must be used to ensure good transfer of Huwe1 protein to immunoblotting membranes. For example use BSN transfer buffer 48mM TRIS, p9.2, 39mM glycine with 10% MeOH and 0.0375% SDS. Suggested dilutions/conditions may not be available for all applications. Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application. |

Has been shown to be overexpressed in many human tumors and to play a role in spermatogenesis and neurogenesis. |
